「京都下鴨神社の奉納和菓子」みたらし団子を生地づくりから体験していただきます。京都風のコクのあるタレ作りも楽しみです。
できあがった「みたらし団子」は、その場でご賞味いただきます。

お団子生地づくり

上新粉に熱湯を合わせ、しっかりこねます。蒸気のたった蒸し器にお団子生地を入れます。蒸し上がるまで、必ず蓋はそのまま。蒸している間に、たれを作ります。

絶品！

作ったたれに、香ばしく焼いたお団子をくぐらせ、きなこをかけてできあがり！　できたてのみたらし団子をご賞味ください。

京都下鴨神社の奉納和菓子！

みたらし団子は、下鴨神社の御手洗祭の際に氏子の家庭でつくられて奉納された神饌菓子がそのはじまりとされています。御手洗祭とは御手洗池に足を浸し、罪や穢れを祓い無病息災を祈るもの。この御手洗池に浮かび上がった水泡を模して、みたらし団子がつくられたと言われているのです。
