品川の魅力、再発見。

東海道五十三次の一番目の宿として栄えた品川は、かつてから多くの寺院の集落地とし、壮麗な景色が一望できる海辺の観光地としてとても賑わっていました。

古くから受け継がれている、江戸末期の達人による漆喰彫刻＜東洋のフレスコ画＞とも呼ばれる作品や、レンガ造りのお寺は東京を代表する名所旧跡の一つでしょう。

はたまた旧東海道沿いの道から一歩それ裏道に入ると、漁師町の面影や現役の井戸が残されています。

忙しい日常の中、何気なく通りすぎてしまうことが多い普段の道も、たまには脇道をしながら一歩立ち止まって、歴史を感じませんか。
